Official Thorpe Park Description:

From the 1997 Thorpe Park website “Jumbo 4-seater pedalos are modelled on the old Canadian lumber jack rafts.. .hard work on the legs!”

The Attraction:

These 25 specially designed log raft style pedalos were a popular way to have fun while relaxing, pedalling the boats around in the scenic Canada Creek area of the park. The boats sat up to four people who all wore life jackets/buoyancy aids. The rafts were decorated with fake barrels, chests & wheels and they had bright yellow canopies.

The boating area could be seen from the queue line area of nearby Loggers Leap. The Hudson River Rafters left the park at the end of the 1997 season.
